ZAIN POORMAN

The 6’4” skilled guard played for Solent Kestrels last season where he amassed an impressive average of 10.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game.

Poorman enjoyed a successful three-year college career, earning Defensive Player of the Year and All-First Team honours in the ABL before stepping up to the EABL level with Alec Reed Academy by claiming a spot in the Southern Conference All-First Team and leading the league in assists.

The 23-year-old becomes the 7^th player to commit to Ross Norfolk’s 2023/2024 NBL roster and will bring further NBL Division 1 experience to bolster the team’s chances for the upcoming season.

Discussing his move to the Essex Rebels, Elias Zain Poorman said:
