Come along to one of the premier sports venues in the East of England, the Essex Sport Arena to watch top quality professional basketball and volleyball featuring the Essex Rebels stars.

Fast paced and action-packed fun, there is nothing like a gameday at the Essex Sport Arena, from the energy of the pre-game fanzone to larger-than-life mascot Queen B, each match day features a range of fan activities to keep you entertained throughout your visit.

Gameday Entertainment & Atmosphere

Our award-winning gameday entertainment includes a live DJ, Huncho Stan on the mic, amusing sound effects during the game, competitions, half-time acts, dance-cam, kiss-cam, fan voting, bring the noise decibal meter, and much more!

Queen B

Queen B, named after Boudicca, who led the Iceni Rebels to defeat the Romans at Colchester, entertains children and gets involved in on-court performances at games.

Rebels Fanzone

The Essex Rebels fanzone is the place to be before the game tips off. Pre match activity usually includes a Live DJ, basketball hoop and volleyball spike challenges, street food, alcoholic and soft drinks, face paint, and much more.

Food and Drink

A range of hot and cold drinks (including a licenced bar), slush puppies, hot and cold snacks, cakes, and confectionary are available from the Time Out bar throughout match day. Time Out also features views of the court, so that you need never miss any of the action.
