TIA FREEMAN

Essex Rebels are excited to announce the return of 5’11 Guard Tia Freeman.

The British guard recently helped guide the University of Essex to their first-ever National championship, as well as positing season averages of 8 pts and 3.4 assists in the WBBL.

She commented her best on-court moment would be getting their first home win in the previous season as she was new to the team last year.

Tia will continue her education by studying for a postgraduate degree in Global Digital Marketing while continuing her playing career with the Essex Rebels in the WBBL. Tia will be stepping up into a leadership role this season as she becomes one of three captains.
