CLAIRE PAXTON
The Essex Rebels are excited to announce the return signing of 6’2 forward Claire Paxton.
Paxton returns to the Rebels for her second season after a number of successful seasons as a journeyman in the WBBL where she has established herself as one of the league’s top performers.
Prior to joining the Rebels, Paxton led Durham and 10th overall in the league in scoring averaging just shy of sixteen points a game while also leading the league in defensive rebounds.
Last season Claire played a huge part in helping the programme secure its first-ever BUCS national championship. Claire was selected to represent Scotland in the Commonwealth games in 2023 as a member of the 3×3 team.
The Essex Rebels are excited to have Claire back.
