MASSAFRA RETURNS TO REBELS
Essex Rebels welcome back forward Riccardo Massafra for another season as a Rebel.
Mussafra joined the Essex Rebels having played in Bulgaria Division A for Athletic Sofia. The 23-year-old forward impressed after playing exceptionally in BUCS competition and subsequently was promoted to the first team squad by Ross Norfolk for the 2022/2023 season.
Hailing from Italy, Riccardo made a seamless step-up to NBL Division 1 competition, averaging 4.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, cementing himself as a regular starter is Ross Norfolk’s side.
Mussafra becomes the 7th player to commit to the Essex Rebels roster for the 2023/2024 season – welcome back Riccardo!
