Easter holidays basketball camps
During the Easter holidays, the Essex Rebels will be running two day camps for all aspiring basketball stars in the state-of-the-art Essex Sport Arena.
Children will learn the fundamentals of basketball, such as dribbling, shooting techniques and passing drills.
You will have the chance to meet some of the professional players as well as win prizes and tickets to the Rebels games!

- Monday 6 April (9 – 14 years) and Tuesday 7 April (6 – 8 years)
- 9am – 4pm
- Ages 9 to 14 years
- Student / Staff: £27
- Public: £30

How to book
Online
Bookings for half-term camps can be made online.
Before commencing the online booking process, please ensure you have the correct email address and PIN number for your child. If you don’t have this number to hand, please contact us on 01206 873250 or email [email protected]
- Log in to our online booking system using the details provided for your child.
- Select ‘Make a booking’ then ‘Sports Camps’.
- Select the required option from the list, such as, Basketball Camp.
- You can add multiple bookings to your basket and proceed with payment when ready.
- You can view your bookings via the ‘Manage Bookings’ tab at the top of the page.
Sports Centre Reception
Parents can also book via the Sports Centre reception by either visiting or telephoning on 01206 873250, and paying using a debit or credit card. Parents will also need to complete an application and consent form (.pdf) and return to reception.

International Women’s Day Basketball Doubleheader
Join us at the Essex Sport Arena for a special International Women’s Day Basketball Doubleheader, celebrating women in sport with an exciting afternoon and evening of top-level basketball and entertainment.
The celebration begins early with a pre-game FanZone outside the arena from 2:00 PM, including fun activities, face painting, music, giveaways, food stalls & more!
Inside the arena, fans can enjoy a thrilling doubleheader as the Essex Rebels Women take on the Newcastle Eagles at 4 pm & the Essex Rebels Men taking on Hemel Storm at 6:30 pm
Alongside the on-court action, the event will feature a range of special International Women’s Day entertainment, including live performances, giveaways, and celebratory moments throughout the day.
This event is a celebration of women, sport, and community — and an opportunity to recognise the impact of women both on and off the court.

Essex Rebels vs City of Birmingham Rockets
The second-to-last regular season home game is here. Join us at the Essex Sport Arena on Saturday, 21 March 2026, as the Essex Rebels Men take on the City of Birmingham Rockets in a crucial British Championship Basketball clash at 6:30pm.
