Miles Brown to join Essex Rebels ahead of upcoming 2025/2026 campaign
Essex Rebels are pleased to welcome talented guard Miles Brown to the roster in time for the 2025/2026 season.
Most recently, Brown played for the Feniks 2010 in North Macedonia, who he helped reach the play-offs.
Hailing from Rochester in New York, Brown previously played for the Ohio Bobcats at college level. This saw him competing in the NCAA Division One from 2019 until 2024.
In Brown’s senior season with the Bobcats, he made seventeen starts out of twenty-three appearances, where he averaged 9.7 points per game. That season also saw Brown averaging 3.8 rebounds, while also contributing forty-three assists and grabbing thirty-five steals.
The highlight of Brown’s time with the Bobcats was undoubtedly the 2022/2023 campaign, where he started all thirty-three games. Brown scored a career-high 27 points against Central Michigan, averaging ten points and three rebounds throughout the season.
After his lengthy experience at the top level with the Bobcats – as well as his time abroad in North Macedonia – the Rebels will be hoping Brown can help them in achieving their goal of bringing some silverware to Essex this year.
Speaking ahead of his arrival, Miles Brown said:
“I’m more than grateful to be a part of the Essex Rebels and can’t wait to get to Colchester and connect with my teammates, fans and the community.”
