Comprised of inspiration role models, our players are drawn from across the UK and beyond and compete in the National Volleyball Super League programme.

In just two seasons the Essex Rebels Men have established themselves amongst the top teams in the country. An historic Super League Bronze Medal in 2024, the development of the best gameday experience and a first National Cup final appearance have shown our desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible. We have built a pathway that allows talented male volleyball athletes to access all the tools they need to represent their country and go on to greater things, whilst also challenging for medals at home. We’re doing something special and we aren’t stopping any time soon.

NATIONS UNITE | Volleyball Doubleheader
Nations Unite – A Celebration of Culture & Volleyball
Nations Unite returns to the Essex Sport Arena on Sunday 1 February, bringing together culture, community, and elite volleyball for a fun-packed afternoon for all ages.
Now in its third year, the Essex Rebels’ flagship event delivers far more than just a matchday — expect colour, music, performances, and top-level sport in a vibrant celebration of unity through volleyball.
What to Expect:
- Flag Parade – bring your flag and represent your heritage
- Live DJ & MC throughout the afternoon
- Dance performances
- Epic giveaways – including merchandise, Amazon vouchers & Colchester Zoo tickets
On court, fans will enjoy a Super League double-header as the Essex Rebels Women’s and Men’s teams face the Newcastle Knights in two high-quality, competitive fixtures with the women starting things off at 2pm, followed by the men at 4pm.
