CONNOR NELSON

The 6’6” forward signs from American University Eagles, based in Washington D.C, USA, where he spent four years competing in the NCAA Division 1 Patriot League.

Nelson played in 19 conference games during the 2022/2023 season, helping American University Eagles to a sixth-place finish and a semi-final finish in the Patriot League Tournament, where they narrowly lose to Lafayette Leopards 84-76 in OT.

When given the chance, the 24-year-old from Denver, Colorado, showed his talent as a sharpshooter beyond the arc, shooting a 3-point percentage of 40.9, the highest among the team.

Prior to his time at American University, Nelson also played for Central Wyoming College as a freshman, averaging an impressive 13.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 22.2 in 18 games. Additionally, it’s not the first time that Connor can proudly call himself a Rebel, having played three years for the Denver South Rebels at high school level.

Connor brings with him a reputation of shooting from range, playing in the clutch, and an incredible work ethic, making him an exciting addition to complete the men’s roster for the 2023/2024 season.
