Mbam adds British talent to Rebels roster

August 15, 2021

Essex Rebels welcome the young talented guard Jade Mbam who joins the Rebels for the coming 21/22 season.

Jade is an up and coming British player who had a great junior career in Manchester where she also earned an opportunity with the Manchester Mystics in the WBBL the last two years under the guidance of Jeff Jones.

Jade will also be continuing her education here at the University of Essex as she will be studying for an undergraduate degree in Sociology.

Head of Basketball Performance, Tom Sadler comments on Jade’s signing “I am really looking forward to working with Jade over the next 3 years whilst she studies for her undergraduate degree at the University of Essex.  She is one of the country’s most talented Juniors and we are really excited in helping her continue to develop in the Rebels programme”.
