In line with the club’s previous advice (of suspending all club-related activities), Basketball England have, this evening, suspended all non-elite basketball (training and competition) for the duration of the lockdown.
The suspension comes into effect from 00:00 tonight (05th of November 2020).
The suspension will include all Junior NBL training and competition, and the Under 18 Premier League teams, which are no longer deemed as ‘Elite’.
Thus, following the above, and with the exception of the BBL | WBBL and NBL1 | WNBL1, Basketball England have suspended the 2020-21 Basketball Season until early 2021 for all leagues and competitions under its jurisdiction.
Now, as far as the club is concerned, and following Basketball England’s announcement today, there is no change to the previous advice; all club-related activities will remain suspended throughout the duration of the lockdown, and until further notice.
The club’s management team will continue to monitor external events closely and provide updates as appropriate. Thank you.
