REBELS ANNOUNCE GAMEDAY THEMES FOR SECOND HALF OF THE 23-24 SEASON!
Essex Rebels are excited to announce a special line-up of new gameday themes for the second half of the 23-24 season.
As we bid farewell to 2023 with our last gameday theme of the year this Saturday, we are ready to usher in a whole new level of excitement for Rebel fans in the second half of 2024.
The first half of the season saw some spectacular events such as the Spooky Hoops Halloween Special, Diwali Night, and the unforgettable 60th Anniversary Celebratory special where 1450 fans packed into the Essex Sport Arena! However, 2024 promises to go even bigger and better!
Choose Your Theme – Saturday January 13th: ‘Wear Red’ or ‘Retro Night’
Kicking off the second half of the season on Saturday 13th January, we’re giving our fans the power to decide the theme for the day. Will it be a sea of red in the arena or a blast from the past with ‘Retro Night’ featuring the best tunes from the 80s and 90s? Your vote will determine the theme, so make sure to join us this Saturday for this interactive fan experience!
Highlights of other Upcoming Themes:
Essential Workers Appreciation Night (January 27th): Join us as we pay tribute to Essential Workers – the heroes who have been at the forefront, ensuring our safety and well-being.
Chinese Year Celebratory Special (February 10th): Immerse yourself in festivities as we celebrate the Chinese New Year with cultural displays and exciting surprises.
‘Junior Takeover’ Night (February 17th): Watch as our youngest fans take charge and bring an adorable twist to the gameday experience.
‘Nations Unite’ Volleyball Special (February 3rd): Experience an international celebration of cultures as different societies join us for a special Volleyball themed event. The cultural society with the most members will win exciting giveaways!
International Women’s Day Celebration (March 9th): Join us once again in honouring and celebrating the achievements of women around the world.
Queen B’s Birthday Bash (March 23rd): Join us in a celebration like no other, where we’ll be toasting to Queen B’s birthday – our beloved warrior queen mascot. It’s more than a match; it’s a birthday bash you won’t want to miss!
